Walmart’s Spark Shop eCommerce Platform
Walmart’s SparkShop, an internal eCommerce site designed to serve its extensive global network of employees, had outgrown its original platform and suffered from a dreary, outdated design.
The outdated website struggled to handle the increasing demand for Spark Shop’s wide range of merchandise, including t-shirts, vests, pins, and other branded items. With an ambitious plan to host over 60,000 SKUs and add new products weekly, Walmart recognized the need for a complete overhaul.
